Alfred Hershey and Martha Chase's experiment was one of which cconcluded that DNA is THE genetic material. They proved this with an experiment that consisted of phages (small virus thta infects bacteria).

Erwin Chargaff
Chargaff was the biochemist who discovered a rule that help understand the structure of DNA. He concluded that;
*The number of Adenine=the number of Thymine, and the number of Guanine=the number of Cytosine (This is kknown as Chargaff's rule)

Rosalind Franklin
Franklin was the scientist who discovered the structure of DNA using x-ray photography. She really didn't get the credit for what she took the time, and effort to discover.

Watson and Crick
Francis Watson and James Crick were the scietists credited with the finding of DNA's sturcture. They were credited because Watson got a look at Rosalind Franklin's x-ray photos and described the structure as a double helix.
